The Nushagak River has the largest King Salmon run of any river in Alaska and is located in one of Alaska's most beautiful and scenic wild frontiers. As we travel all over Alaska looking for the best rivers and streams to take you fishing, we discovered that no river we have been to can compare to the Nushagak for the King Salmon quantity of fish caught daily. This is the river for you if you want to catch big King Chinook Salmon and lots of them!
Consider this, Alaska is the largest State in the United States of America. Alaska has more rivers than any other state with Salmon runs. Of all the Rivers in Alaska with Salmon runs, no other river in the State of Alaska has as large a King Salmon run as the Nushagak River. We offer you an experience of a lifetime for three and a half days, living in a remote fishing Camp, fishing for King Salmon on Alaska's most popular King Salmon River for three whole days and half of the fourth.
While you are at the King Camp, you will live and sleep safely away from wild life intrusion in a sturdy rustic canvas stand up wall tent with four cots for 3 nights. Eat all three meals each day cooked fresh in a dinning hall tent. Fish 3 &1/2 days with three other fishermen in a fully guided boat with all fishing tackle supplied to King Salmon fish to your hearts content for the largest, strongest fighting salmon of all, the Mighty King Chinook Salmon of Alaska.
After your awesome day of King Salmon fishing, you may want to continue to fish on your own from shore on the Nushagak at the King camp. Feel free to fish on your own as long as you wish, however, you must supply your own fishing rod and reel and lures, bait or flies for your unguided fishing time at the Nushagak King camp.
You are allowed to keep one King Salmon per day and catch and release salmon the rest of your days fishing, through out your entire trip.
You will be staying in a remote camp situated along the Nushagak River, a two hour flight from our lodge at Pinewood Inn. Stay in our lovely Pinewood Inn Lodge the night before departure as part of your package price. When you return from your King Camp, a complimentary night is included in your package at the Pinewood Inn should you want to continue on fishing near by in one of our popular streams the day following your fly in trip or if you just need an extra day to relax and sight see around the Kenai Peninsula. The King Salmon Camp is only for a limited time only during the last two weeks of June and first week and a half of July. You must reserve your time as soon as you know you want to go. Fishing slots fill quickly for the three week period.

for the Alaska Fly Fishing Adventures King Salmon Camp is $2500.00, 2 person minimum. Fee includes float plane flight to and from Pinewood Inn Lodge to Nushagak King Camp, three and a half days of guided King Salmon fishing from guided river boat, Wall Tent, and cot, three meals daily and two nights lodging at the Pinewood Inn, the night before you depart for Nushagak and the night after you return from the Nushagak River. The King Salmon Camp consists of only two large canvas wall tents with 8 person total capacity. Each tent holds 4 people.
